To deepen the integration of industry and education, and to promote the joint cultivation of outstanding industry talent by enterprises and universities, a meeting for the 2025 overseas order class students and a school-enterprise cooperation negotiation were successfully held on November 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. by the company and Sichuan Water Conservancy Vocational College at the Yangma campus of the college. The meeting was hosted by Han Li, the deputy director of the academic affairs office of the school. Company executives, Vice President Xie Jing of the school, relevant leaders, and all students from the order class gathered together to witness this significant moment.
At the student meeting, Yang Lan, the deputy manager of the General Affair Department, introduced the company profile and talent requirements. Liao Zhi Ying, deputy manager of the engineering department, provided an overview of the company’s current overseas projects and potential project volumes. Following that, Han Li introduced the progress of the preliminary work for the order class, and Wu Xian, deputy secretary of the Party branch of the Water Conservancy Engineering College, arranged and deployed the work for the next stage of the order class. Finally, Vice President Xie Jing summarized the meeting, emphasizing that the school attaches great importance to the cultivation of the order class and maintains a student-centered approach, focusing on students' safety, growth, and development. She expressed her earnest expectations for the students, urging them to hold themselves to high standards, strengthen their studies, maintain a good image, and continuously grow and succeed through experience.
During the school-enterprise cooperation negotiation, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation plans, curriculum settings, practical training, and subsequent employment arrangements, proposing ideas for further deepening cooperation.
The successful holding of this meeting not only established a direct bridge for order class students to connect with enterprises but also injected new vitality into school-enterprise cooperation. In the future, the company will continue to work with Sichuan Water Conservancy Vocational College to explore new models of collaborative education, cultivating more quality talents for industry development.
