Chairman attended ordihulu Hydropower COD signing

        As the EPC contractor of the Ordi Hulu Hydropower Station Project (PLTM Ordi Hulu) in Indonesia, our company’s chairman, Mr. Zhou Yuefei, was invited to participate in the project (PLTM Ordi Hulu) in Medan City at 11:30 am on April 30, 2024. COD (Commercial Operation Date) signing ceremony. Mr. Saleh Siswanto, General Manager of the Main Distribution Department of the North Sumatra Electricity Authority, and Mr. Rusmin Cahyadi, President of the PT Sumatra Energi Lestari (PT SEL) project company, jointly signed the COD agreement.

        The Ordihulu project is located in the Pakpak Bharat area of North Sumatra Province. It is a diversion power station with a design head of 125m, a flow rate of 10m³/s, and a total installed capacity of 11MW. The buildings of this project mainly consist of a 14.9-meter-high gate dam, an 898-meter diversion culvert, a 50-meter aqueduct, a forebay and an overflow weir, a 1,810-meter pressure pipeline, and an above-ground factory building.

        The Ordihulu Hydroelectric Power Station officially commenced construction on May 1, 2022. It was completed within a total duration of 20 months, concluding on December 31, 2023. The project met the conditions for power generation within the agreed contract period and was handed over to the owner.
        Mr. Sarai Sivandu, the General Manager of the Main Distribution Department of North Sumatra Island, mentioned during the signing ceremony: "The Ordihulu project is the 25th renewable energy power station operating on North Sumatra Island. The project has officially commenced commercial operations, contributing to the electricity supply based on environmentally friendly energy sources. This has increased the renewable energy portfolio of Sumatra Island to 42.04%, enhanced the quality of power supply, improved community service levels, and potentially reduced the supply costs in North Sumatra Province by 21 billion Indonesia Rupiah annually."
         The construction of the Ordihulu Hydroelectric Power Station has received unanimous praise from various sectors of society, and our company's design, construction, and performance capabilities have been highly appreciated. It has earned the reputation of being the "most beautiful power station" locally! Additionally, it is also the second hydroelectric project in Indonesia to be completed and put into commercial operation on schedule.
