On April 45, General Manager Hu Guangming met a team led by Deputy General Manager Zhao Youdong from PowerChina Northwest Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Northwest Engineering”) in the company. Deputy General Manager Huang Zhongxin, Director Yan Qingdong and Feng Quansheng, General Manager of Sichuan Qinghe Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Design Co., Ltd. also attended the meeting.

Hu Guangming extended warm welcome to their arrival and also pointed out that Northwest Engineering was an electric power design institute with great strength and high reputation. Currently, we are vigorously implementing the strategy of “Going Out” and striving to explore the international hydropower market, so we hope to seek in-depth cooperation with Northeast Engineering as a high-level design unit so as to constantly promote mutual common development.
Zhao Youdong expressed thanks for our warm reception and said that Northwest Engineering attached great importance to the cooperative relationship with Sichuan Huafei Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huafei Energy”). He also praised that Huafei Energy was a strong and responsible enterprise and highly evaluated the investment value of our overseas projects. He also said that Northwest Engineering was willing to carry out in-depth cooperation with us.
Then both sides conducted preliminary negotiation over the planning and design scheme for the LUVUA river basin of Congo (Kinshasa) and the specific project cooperation agreement.
The related functional departments and professional technical directors jointly attended the meeting.
