Maquyong Hydropower Station is located in Mali Township, Luolong County, Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is a diversion conduit typepower Station, with the design water head of 85m, the designer flow of 1.5 m³/s, and the installed capacity of 1 MW. The project was started in March 2016 and completed in October 2016. 
Maquyong Hydropower Station, with a sea level of more than 3,500 meters, adopts the scheme of water diversion via a steel pipe extending to the slope bottom and pressure regulating pipe. It has successfully achieved the power generation goal in only 7 months and won the innovation Award of Tibet Autonomous Region.
