On October 13, 2018, a delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo led by Mr. BEYOKO LOKU jean-pierr, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy of DRC, and Mr. BONGONDO W' IKOTE Simplice, Senior Financial Adviser of the Ministry of Energy of DRC, visited the company. Mr. Zhou Yuefei, chairman of the board, led the team to warmly welcome the guests and exchange views.
At the symposium, Mr. Zhou Yuefei introduced the corporate nature, enterprise scale and business fields of Huafei Energy Group to the Secretary General and his delegation, as well as the overseas hydropower projects invested and constructed by CHFE. He made a detailed introduction on the feasibility of the cooperative hydropower projects between the two sides and put forward substantive suggestions on how to accelerate the cooperative hydropower projects. "As a professional company committed to the development of international hydropower business, CHFE is actively responding to the country's ' the Belt and Road Initiative '," as well as looking forward to intensifying coordination and cooperation in countries and regions endowed with abundant water resources to develop hydropower, so as to constantly support local economic development."
Mr. Secretary-General expressed that it is a great honor to visit CHFE. Congo (Kinshasa) is endowed with abundant natural resources, anticipating cooperation with CHFE in hydropower development, as well as strengthening cooperation by both sides at the government level and accelerating the implementation of the project.
Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the long-term strategic cooperation of hydropower projects, and discussed and studied the model of project cooperation from a macro perspective and specific implementation respect, and reached preliminary consensus.
