Kehe Hydropower Station

Kehe Hydropower Station is located in Kehe Township,Huidong County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and in the downstream of Shenyu River, aprimary tributary on the left bank of Jinsha River. It is the 4th cascade hydropower Station in the main stream planning of Shenyu  River, with the design water  head of 398 m, the designer flow of 21.4m³ /s, and the installed capacity of 72 MW. The project was started in October 2003 and completed in February 2005.
The headrace tunnel of Kehe Hydropower Station is 8 km in length, and it takes only 19 months to be completed for power generation, which creates a much higher return on investment than the market level for the employer.
