Woluoqiao Hydropower Station

Woluoqiao Hydropower Station is located in Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
It is the first cascade diversion conduit type power Station on the middle reaches of Woluo River, a secondary tributary of Yalong River.
The power Station is in the dam and diversion conduit type development with the design water head of 90 m, the designer flow of 126.93m³ /s, and the installed capacity of 100 MW.
Theproject was started in June 2007 and completed in December 2011.The dam of the Woluoqiao Hydropower Station is a gravelly soil core-wall rockfill dam with filling volume of 1 million cubic meters.
